The Clas Ohlson home app works with the Clas Ohlson smart plugs and smart lightbulb.
The home app helps create a connected home without buying smart products, the goal is to make it affordable and simple for everybody. The interface uses a minimalistic look, trying to remove all possible clutter to keep it very clear and coherent for the user. Animations also provide a better understanding of what is happening, from showing how a device should look like when in pairing mode to during the setup process, taking the user to a very well guided walkthrough.
Built to provide an amazing user experience.
Essentially for customers taking the first steps into a connected home and have more products easily onboarded as the connected home range grows. The design was informed by user research and its user centric design keeps it simple for the non-technical, there is no need to login or have an account, it is easy to add a new device to the Wi-Fi network, create schedule or control the devices remotely.
An improved branding.
Fitting a digital platform with a clean and minimalistic UI featuring flat and simple illustrations.
